The Yellow Brick Road in Sedan circles the entire downtown area with 11,786 purchased bricks with people's names inscribed on them. Every state in the United States is represented at least once, and 28 foreign countries are represented. Bricks have been purchased by individuals, organizations, and schools. Celebrities have their own special section that includes such names as Bob Hope, Liz Taylor, Whoopie Goldberg, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Boxcar Willie. There is a special section for veterans with several hundred names in it.
